Jimena Giudice, Ph.D. Awarded Career Development Award From the American Heart Association

Congratulations to Jimena Giudice, Ph.D., a MHI member and Assistant Professor of Cell Biology and Physiology for the receipt of Career Development Award from the American Heart Association.  Dr. Giudice received grant for her studies to investigate the functional implications of alternative splicing in cardiac biology. It is a 3-year grant for $210,000.

Brian Colwell Jensen, Ph.D., M.D. Publishes In American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology

Congratulations to Brian Colwell Jensen, Ph.D., M.D., an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology, for publishing paper on the Nuclear Receptor RORα in American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology.  Dr. Jensen’s paper is featured in the January, 2019 edition of American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology and can be read online now.
