Congratulations to Aung Moe Zaw, Ph.D., Director and Head Surgeon, MHI-Cardiovascular Physiology and Phenotyping Core, for the receipt of method development award from the Core Facility Advocacy Committee (CFAC) for “Microvascular Ligation, Incision, and Anastomosis in Mice”.

The award is for Fall 2024, and the amount is $34,000. This award will support a wide range of microvascular and cardiovascular microsurgeries, including IVC ligation models for thrombosis, pressure measurements in heart chambers, vascular graft implants, and organ transplants, such as heart, liver, and kidneys.
