Frank L. Conlon, Ph.D., In Collaboration With Karl Shpargel, Ph.D., Awarded R01 Grant From The National Institutes Of Health’s (NIH) National Heart, Lung, And Blood Institute (NHLBI)

Congratulations to Frank L. Conlon, Ph.D., Professor of Biology and Genetics, in collaboration with Karl Shpargel, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Genetics, for the receipt of R01 grant from the NIH’s NHLBI.

The grant is titled “Function and regulation of chromatin remodeling complexes in cardiac development and disease”. The proposed studies will address the role of components of the COMPASS complex in chromatin remodeling during heart development.
