Dr. Jeff Dangl is the John Couch Distinguished Professor of Biology at UNC…but additionally Adjunct Professor of Microbiology and Immunology. Prof Dangl was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2007 and presented his inaugural article in that forum in 2009.Dr. Dangl’s researches focus on the immune system present in plants.
