250 neuroscientists gathered for the 13th Annual UNC Neuroscience Symposium held October 25, 2012

250 Neuroscientists from around the Triangle gathered on October 25, 2012 for the 13th Annual UNC Neuroscience Symposium. Drs. Patricia Salinas, Bernardo Sabatini, and Terrence Sejnowski delivered lectures on: “The Birth and Death of the Synapse: A Role for Wnt Signaling”, “Strange Connections: Unexpected Projections in the Basal Ganglia”, and “Suspicious Coincidences in the Brian”, respectively. The symposium was held on UNC’s campus at the Carolina Club and was followed by a luncheon and several meetings between the speakers, students, post docs, and faculty.
