On Saturday December 10, 2016, Harvey’s Aces Celebrity Poker Tournament will be held at the Charlotte Museum of History. Proceeds will be donated to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation Clinic at Chapel Hill and the Harvey Baseball Foundation, two non-profit organizations that former professional baseball player Bryan Harvey helped create.
The celebrity poker tournament and casino night will feature professional athletes, sports personalities, and entertainers, such as former NFL punter Brad Maynard and NASCAR driver Kyle Busch.
Mark Zylka, PhD, Director of the UNC Neuroscience Center and member of the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities, will also be in attendance. He said, “We’re thrilled that UNC will be a beneficiary of proceeds raised at this event. And we hope others join us in Charlotte.”
