Garret Stuber received a 2 year, $400,000 award from the Klarman Family Foundation to study “limbic neural circuits that regulate binge eating”. In the proposed experiments the Stuber lab will investigate the functional connectivity between the extended amygdala and the lateral hypothalamus to determine how genetically defined cell types within these regions can promote or suppress feeding behavior in mice.
