Dr. Flavio Frohlich

Dr. Flavio Frohlich will join the UNC Neuroscience Center’s Faculty.

Flavio received a degree in electrical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and his PhD in computational neuroscience with Terrence Sejnowski at UC San Diego. He did a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University with Dr. David McCormick studying cortical network activity.

Flavio will have appointments as Assistant Professor in Department of Psychiatry, the UNC Neuroscience Center, and the Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology and will be moving to Chapel Hill with his wife Anita on May 1, 2011.

Flavio will be studying cortical network activity using multi-electrode recording in his new lab at UNC.
