On Friday, August 18, 2023, faculty got together at The Carolina Inn’s Friday on the Front Porch event to celebrate Glenn Matsushima’s retirement. During Dr. Matsushima’s 28 years of service to the university, he was a vanguard in the field of neuroimmunology and his work in the cuprizone model of demyelination helped to shape important research in multiple sclerosis. At this celebration, faculty were able to unwind with drinks, on us, and music by Spring Lake!
