Kendall Bielak, MD, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellow has been accepted into the prestigious American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASMR) Center for Policy and Leadership PRIMED Scholars Program. This will allow Dr. Kendall Bielak to build into a legislative leader and advocate for fertility patients and providers across the United States, most importantly patients at UNC.
The ASRM Center for Policy and Leadership (CPL) is a nonpartisan cohort that advances reproductive health, medicine, and science by delivering fact-driven and scientifically-based legal and policy analysis to the public and lawmakers. The PRIMED Scholars program, launched in 2024, allows its members to become “trailblazers in reproductive medicine advocacy”.
“Participants gain comprehensive, skill-based training through several months of hybrid in-person and online modules. From the fundamental aspects of policymaking to mastering message crafting and media relations, PRIMED equips participants with the tools to become influential voices in shaping the future of reproductive medicine,” according to ASMR.
Dr. Kendall Bielak is excited about the future opportunities of the program,
I’m so grateful to be selected for the ASRM PRIMED Program! I’m excited to learn from inspiring mentors and peers and to use this experience to advocate for reproductive health and patient-centered care in North Carolina!
