Senior and Clinical Policy Advisor

Carroll received a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University, a master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in public mental health and substance abuse settings in Orange County, NC for over 20 years.  Her experience includes work in public mental health centers, local courts, shelters, managed care organizations, and a residential program. Her primary responsibilities at UNC Horizons include management of the Chapel Hill outpatient program, provision of clinical supervision to outpatient staff, and oversight of the organization’s training program.
