About
Division:
General Obstetrics, Gynecology and Midwifery
Personal Biography:
Jennifer Frazier was influenced by her family at a young age to become a nurse. “I was aware at a young age I was enamored with birth and babies. My grandfather was a very brittle diabetic and had frequent hospitalizations, the highlight of these hospital visits was a trip to the maternity ward to see the babies at the nursery window. My infatuation would eventually lead me to a career as a nurse in Labor and Delivery. Through my mother’s birth experience with my little sister, hearing stories about my great aunts and uncles and the community midwife that caught them, my own personal birth experiences, and interactions with several midwives in my career as Labor and Delivery Nurse. All these moments shaped my deep passion for maternal and women’s health, becoming a midwife has been a dream that is now a reality. I am committed to ensuring that every woman, child and family receive optimal care, is heard, feels safe and protected.” Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jennifer values time spent with her family, including her two daughters and beloved pet. She has a passion for cooking and baking, finds joy in watching sunsets, and appreciates the comfort of sharing tacos with loved ones.
