Personal Biography:
Dr. Arora is an expert in disparities surrounding sterilization (permanent contraception) and reproductive bioethics. She has served as the Greenwall Fellow in Bioethics for the National Academy of Medicine, Chair of the national ethics committee of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, on the national ethics committee of the American Medical Association, on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Bioethics and the Humanities, and on the Governing Council for the Young Physicians Section of the American Medical Association. She was named a 40 under 40 leader in minority health by the National Minority Quality Forum. Clinically, she is passionate about contraceptive care, LGBT health, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery.
