Personal Biography:

Marissa Cochran is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and North Carolina native, originally from Asheville. She has called the Triangle home since 2013, when she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies. She went on to earn both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Duke University.

Marissa is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to women at every stage of life. She brings seven years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, where she developed extensive expertise in pregnancy and childbirth.

Her clinical interests include prenatal and postnatal care, contraception, menopause management, and general gynecologic care. She prioritizes patient education and preventive care, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health. Marissa is also a strong advocate for health equity and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to every patient.

Outside of the clinic, Marissa enjoys traveling, hiking in the North Carolina mountains, reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
