WHY OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY?

I chose obstetrics and gynecology because it uniquely combines surgical expertise with the opportunity to build lasting, meaningful relationships with patients during some of the most transformative moments of their lives. What draws me most is how the specialty allows me to blend my passion for advocacy, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care to support individuals across all stages of life.

WHY UNC?

I chose this UNC because of its strong commitment to patient advocacy, community engagement, and excellence in clinical training. During my sub-internship, I was drawn to the collaborative team dynamic and the supportive learning environment. I appreciated how the faculty and residents encouraged curiosity, welcomed my questions, and trusted me with meaningful responsibilities. I knew this was a place where I could grow, feel seen, and contribute meaningfully.
