Personal Biography:
After a career in communications and as a small business owner, Natalie was inspired by her own birth experiences to pursue nursing and midwifery, driven by a desire to walk with individuals and families through one of life’s most transformative moments. She is passionate about providing patient-centered, collaborative care that honors each individual’s unique journey through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period – empowering them to make informed choices and feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Prior to joining UNC, Natalie practiced midwifery for three years in New Orleans. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys baking, cooking traditional Louisiana food, experiencing live music, and exploring all of the wonders of her new home with her husband and three sons.
