Personal Biography:

Shannon became a midwife to support patients as they develop as people and expand their careers and families. She considers this an honor to hold space for all members of the community throughout their lives. She had her own two children at UNC-CH and appreciates the interdisciplinary care that is offered at the medical center. She lives in Apex and outside of work she loves going to the beach with her family.
