Personal Biography:
Stephanie Glass Clark, MD MSc, is joining us as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Glass Clark completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical College of Virginia before pursuing fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh. During her fellowship, she also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research and conducted various surgical outcomes research projects, including a randomized control trial evaluating posterior colporrhaphy at time of sacrocolpopexy. Her surgical expertise includes vaginal reconstructive surgery, including vNOTEs, laparoscopic and robotic approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, and procedural management of urinary incontinence. She is passionate about medical education and has served as the Director of Resident Robotics and Urogynecology Educator at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, where she has been actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows. Her research interests focus on improving surgical outcomes, surgical efficiency and quality of surgical care.
