Why Obstetrics and Gynecology?

I decided on OBGYN because I was drawn to the variety in our work, from office-based visits, to surgical procedures, to delivering babies. This definitely keeps the workday interesting and challenging. OB/GYN is a complex field that requires a broad set of skills and knowledge. We also play a role in women’s health issues thus having significant impacts on families and communities, and therefore on public health.

Why UNC?

I chose UNC because of the strength of the training
With high-quality education and clinical experience we receive. UNC also fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, providing residents with a broader perspective on women’s health and a solid platform for interdisciplinary collaboration.
