Visiting Student Fees and Scholarships
Domestic Costs
If offered a seat in your requested elective, you must must submit a $100 non-refundable processing fee. You will have one week after accepting the rotation offer to send in the processing fee or your seat will be forfeited.
*If you attend a medical school in the state of North Carolina (Campbell, Duke, East Carolina, and Wake Forest) OR if you are accepting a second or third elective offer, you do not need to submit the processing fee again.
Payment Options
All fees can be paid online using a credit card. All fees must be paid prior to the start of your rotation. You will be prompted when fees are due. Only MasterCard or Visa are accepted at this time.If you prefer to pay by check or money order, please make it payable to “UNC School of Medicine” and mail to the following address:
