Each year, UNC Hospitals administers the Press Ganey Medical Practice survey to patients asking their likelihood of recommending their provider’s practice to their friends and family. In 2022, this award recognizes the UNC Faculty Physicians providers who were the most highly recommended (89%+) in survey responses. This level of recommendation places these providers in the top quartile nationally, among healthcare systems who administered the Press Ganey Medical Practice survey to patients over the past year.
UNC Orthopaedics Chair and Frank C. Wilson Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery Dr. James Sanders noted: ”I am so pleased to have orthopaedics so broadly represented for the Carolina Care Award. These 10 providers embody our department’s strong commitment to providing outstanding and equitable care for all of our patients. I congratulate each of the recipients on this recognition of their devotion to providing high quality clinical care.”
