Speaker Biography

Joseph S. Green Ph.D. is a consultant in professional learning with more than 40 years of experience in designing and leading adult education programs. He has a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Adult Learning from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He has served in numerous leadership roles in academic medicine, including being the Associate Dean of Continuing Medical Education at Duke University Health System and the Chief Learning Officer for the American College of Cardiology. He currently runs a consulting company working with professional organizations around the world developing strategies to improve adult learning programs.
