Speaker Biography

Dr. Malloy completed her  residency training in Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina and went on to complete a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same institution. She has been nationally recognized as the Chair of the Inpatient, Residential and Partial Hospitalization Committee of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), and has held leadership roles in the North Carolina Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (NCCCAP), including serving as its President from 2010-12. Dr. Malloy’s passion for teaching has involved her in a number of roles in the University North Carolina School of Medicine in curriculum development and leadership as well as student advising. She has directed the Psychiatry Clerkship as well as other courses in the medical school
