Dr. Tilly is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. She provides clinical care as a part of both the Inpatient Adult Palliative Care and Children’s Supportive Care Consult Teams.
She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. After serving as chief resident for Med-Peds, she completed fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UNC before joining faculty at UNC.
Dr. Tilly’s interests include mentorship and advising along with advancing palliative medicine through research and education. Her research work is centered on improving palliative care access and quality in low-resource settings.
