Ashley Leak Bryant, is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is certified in oncology and gerontological nursing. Dr. Bryant worked at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital for 15 years and has a passion for patients with blood cancers. Currently, she is a per diem nurse in the Hospice Home at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Her clinical interests are in designing, implementing and disseminating palliative and supportive care interventions using an interprofessional team to manage symptoms and function.
Dr. Bryant completed her BSN and MSN (Nursing Administration) at UNC-Greensboro, PhD in Nursing at UNC Chapel Hill, and a post-doctoral fellowship in the Global School of Global Public Health.
