Dr. Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She provides clinical care as part of the UNC Children’s Supportive Care Team and various clinics within the Division of GPAM.
She graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW/Children’s Health Dallas. She then began her career as a general pediatrician caring for children in foster care at the Rees Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Health Dallas, where she found deep meaning in building relationships with families and advocating for their needs. This experience sparked her interest in palliative care and moved her North Carolina for fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UNC before deciding to stay on as UNC faculty.
