Jenny Hanspal is a Nurse Clinical Coordinator with the Outpatient Oncology Palliative Care Service at the N.C. Cancer Hospital. In this role, Jenny assists her primary team in helping patients manage and cope with the long term physical and emotional side effects and symptoms related to cancer and its treatment. Additionally, she assists in evaluating and coordinating barriers to and transitions in care amongst oncology patients and their families.
Previously, she worked as an Oncology Nurse Navigator with the Comprehensive Cancer Support Program in the Patient and Family Resource Center in the N.C. Cancer Hospital. Her worked centered on assisting families with support resources, education, and coping with the multiple challenges often present when faced with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
