Dr. Katherine Aragon is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine. She is board certified in Palliative Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Aragon is an attending physician in the UNC Palliative Care Program.
Dr. Aragon completed her medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. She finished Internal Medicine residency and Palliative Care fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. Her teaching focuses on serious illness communication skills and improving advance care planning processes. Her clinical interests include supporting patients living with serious illness and improving access to palliative care.
