Mary Beth Grimley Prieur, Ph.D.

Dr. Prieur is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Pediatrics at UNC. She works with the Children’s Supportive Care Team and the Pediatric Psychology Consult & Liaison Service. Dr. Prieur graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Duke in 2004 and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami in 2011. She completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at UNC. Her clinical expertise involves working with children with chronic and life-limiting medical illnesses. Past research projects of Dr. Prieur’s include examining the palliative care-related knowledge, barriers, and support needs of pediatric medical staff.
