Serving as Associate Program Director of UNC’s Hospice and Palliative Medicine and working alongside our fellows and Dr. Tilly is an incredible privilege. I am a clinician-educator and find great fulfillment in teaching/mentoring fellows so that they can grow into HPM leaders. Outside of medicine, I am married to Nicole Zimmerman, a physical therapist at UNC. We have two daughters- Emma (6) and Chloe (4). I enjoy coaching Emma’s soccer team (Go Tadpoles!), exploring local restaurants/breweries, running, and reading as much as possible.
