Speaker: Susanna Thach, MD
Bio: Susanna is a current Hospice and Palliative Care fellow. She came here from Burlington, Vermont, where she completed her medical school and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and went to Washington University in St. Louis for undergraduate studies where she was a psychology major. She is going to stay at UNC next year for geriatrics fellowship.
Topic: Hospice pearls including Suicide in the terminally ill, air travel at the end of life, bleeding management in hospice settings, and special interventions in hospice ( to include surgical interventions).
