Arianna went to medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill after studying biomedical engineering and philosophy at NC State University. There, she studied the science behind the complexities of the human body as well as the ethical and moral questions that arise in the delivery of health care.

During her time at NC State, Arianna had an internship at the East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, working closely with cardiologists in the East Carolina Heart Institute, and learning about the challenges associated with rural health care in North Carolina. Arianna was selected as a Park Scholar at NC State, and is still interested in helping current and future Park Scholars explore their talents and pursue their own passions, particularly with minorities and women in engineering.

Hobbies/Interests: baking sourdough bread, raising chickens, traveling with her husband, Will, and cheering for the Wolfpack.
