Eric grew up in Evergreen, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, majoring in History. In medical school, he won the Student Professionalism Peer Recognition Award, and was elected to AOA and Gold Humanism Society. He was very involved with curriculum reform, and even created over 20,000 online flashcards for the curriculum. He is interested in teaching and clinical research. He and his wife, a pediatric nurse, recently became new parents.
