“My career intentions were to become a skilled clinician and educator in academic medicine, and I believe that my excellent training and mentorship have prepared me exceedingly well for my first faculty position as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

“I am extremely grateful for the multitude of clinical, educational, and research opportunities during my time at UNC that have culminated in an effective and enjoyable fellowship training experience. I feel strongly that my training, in addition to the relationships with mentors that I have established, will allow me to make a successful transition from fellow to faculty member and to contribute greatly to the academic community at Wake Forest School of Medicine.”
