I was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in South Florida. I attended the University of Miami where I studied Neurobiology, and found my passion for teaching and working with underserved communities as an America Reads Tutor. I stayed in South Florida for medical school at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine, and I am currently completing my pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. During this time, I became involved in multiple projects and discovered my interest in quality improvement and medical education. When not in the hospital, I enjoy outdoor activities including kayaking, biking, hiking, and playing badminton!
