Patrick, originally from Delaware, attended East Carolina studying Exercise Physiology graduating Summa Cum Laude with Honors. After working in Teach for America, Patrick then enrolled in medical school at UNC where he has been involved with a variety of leadership, research and volunteer experiences including most notably serving as the Co-President of the Whitehead Medical Society and the Co-Founder of MedServe, a non-profit corporation that places recent pre-med graduates into underserved areas within primary care practices. A member of AOA and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, he is simultaneously graduating with a business degree from Duke while finishing his work at UNC. Married with two children, Patrick also enjoys time with his wife and two boys, exploring the local food and beer scene, golfing, saltwater fishing and running.
