    Why did you choose UNC for residency?
    I chose UNC for my pediatric residency training because on interview day, everyone was extremely warm and welcoming, and I knew that this would be a program that I would be able to thrive in. My partner and I couples matched to UNC and we are both from the area, so we knew that we’d have lots of support from family and friends during residency. Being able to train at the state’s public hospital and provide quality care to patients from any socioeconomic background was also very important to me.

    A little more about me…
    I love to be outdoors, hiking, running, and playing tennis! Also love to read, learn languages, and travel. I have a currency collection from each of the 24 countries that I’ve visited so far!
