Timeline
The timeline for application into the Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship at UNC Children’s Hospital is as follows:
- Applications follow ERAS timeline (https://students-residents.aamc.org/eras-tools-and-worksheets-fellowship-applicants/eras-2022-fellowship-application-timeline)
- Remote interviews will start in August
- We will be participating in NRMP match (nrmp.org/match-calendars) with dates consistent with the pediatric specialty fellowship match
Application Requirements
UNC Children’s Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship program is using the Common Application. Please be sure to include your CV with your application. Letters of recommendation are required including one from your residency program director. Graduation from an ACGME pediatrics (or medicine-pediatrics) program is required. Applicants must be board-eligible/certified in General Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics. For applicants who require Visa sponsorship, we are able to consider applicants eligible for a J-1 Visa sponsored by the ECFMG only.
