
The Muenzer MPS Research & Treatment Center is proud to formally announce that there will be an MPS Awareness
Day recognized in partnership with University of North Carolina Tar Heels baseball during the home baseball game as UNC takes on High Point University.on Tuesday, April 21. MPS Awareness Day at UNC Baseball
This special MPS Awareness Day event will take place at Boshamer Stadium and is dedicated to increasing awareness of the mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS)—a group of rare, inherited metabolic disorders—while honoring the patients, families, clinicians, and researchers who are part of the MPS community.
Throughout the game, MPS Awareness Day will spotlight the ongoing research, clinical care, and advocacy efforts led by the Muenzer MPS Research & Treatment Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The event reflects the Center’s continued commitment to advancing understanding, improving care, and supporting individuals and families affected by MPS.
MPS patients and families are warmly invited to join us and will receive complimentary tickets to the game. Advance registration is required.
