Dr. Jalazo is a board-certified pediatrician and clinical geneticist with expertise in lysosomal storage disorders, particularly the mucopolysaccharidoses. Dr. Jalazo also has a personal and research interest in Angelman syndrome and other rare neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Jalazo lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and three children. She enjoys baking, reading and being outside with her family.
