Funding

The Renal Research Institute has primarily funded every conference by allocating 20 of their 100 nephrology fellow slots to pediatric trainees. Funding has been secured by Drs. Maria Ferris, John Mahan and Mary Carter with the assistance of: Nephropath, Fresenius Medical Care, The American Kidney Fund, Alexion and The International Pediatric Nephrology Association. Our interdisciplinary faculty members are volunteers whose travel expenses are covered by their own donations. Our expenses are budget neutral and funds are raised yearly.
