All About Dr. Kodsi!

Marina was born in Cairo, Egypt and immigrated to Richmond, VA when she was 4. She grew up in Albany, NY and attended Siena College where she was heavily involved in clubs and coordinated events for community service through her church. After college she continued her community outreach. She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was the president of the PM&R group and nurtured interests in mentoring and education. She tutored undergraduates as a medical student. She has maintained her bilingual abilities and uses her Arabic whenever a patient speaks it. She is dedicated to mentorship, curriculum improvement for medical students, interventional pain and multidisciplinary approaches to treatment. She enjoys spending time with her husband, playing tennis, eating good food, finding hidden gems in the local area, and hanging out with friends. She is also obsessed with orange theory and will tell others that it is the “most encompassing workout for both physical and mental health!”
