Paul Marvin, MAR, was recently certified as a peer support specialist, although he has offered peer support in informal settings for nearly 20 years. He is part of the Center’s HomeLink program.  Additionally, he is certified as a WRAP group facilitator and has completed training in mindfulness practices through the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California Berkeley and the Koru Mindfulness Program at Duke University.  Previously, he spent 20 years working in application development and law office automation. He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Fort Hays State University, M.A.R. in theology from Emmanuel School of Religion, and has completed additional graduate work in philosophy at the University of Nebraska.
