Refer to a CSC Clinic
What is a CSC Clinic?
CSC refers to Coordinated Specialty Care, which is a team-based approach for treating early onset psychosis. A CSC team typically offers of medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, peer support, and education/employment support. For more information about what CSC offers for clients and their families, visit our What is Coordinated Specialty Care Page.
Who is a Good Fit for CSC?
CSC clinics focus on early onset psychosis clients who they believe will be able to benefit the most from treatment. The following are general requirements for admittance into a CSC program, but meeting these does not guarantee that a clinic will be able to accept the person experiencing psychosis into their clinic.
Eligibility Criteria
- Between the ages of 15-30
- First psychosis episode within 3 years or a previous program participant who is appropriate for program readmission
- DSM 5 Psychotic Disorder Diagnosis (such as schizophrenia, brief psychotic disorder, unspecified psychotic disorder)
How to Refer to CSC?
Referrals to CSC clinics are typically based on county locations. Using the map below, find the county that the person experiencing psychosis resides in. The color of that county will match one of the LME/MCO’s listed. Below the map, you will find a drop-down box with the LME/MCO that matches your location. If there is a CSC clinic in that area, it will be listed there.
