About
Dr. Amy Pulliam is the Programs Manager at Carolina Demography. She works with internal and external partners to utilize demographic and economic data about North Carolina.
In the past, Amy has worked in quality control and data analysis with hospice and Medicaid/Medicare agencies. She has also worked on outreach and intervention with North Carolina’s infectious disease division and community health research.
Amy is passionate about health equity and advocacy. She holds a doctorate degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Global Health and a Master of Public Health (MPH), both from A.T. Still University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy with a health policy concentration from UNC Chapel Hill.
As a community member with personal suicide loss, I’m dedicated to improving awareness and access to suicide prevention.
