About
Dr. Adorno is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and a Clinical Assistant Professor for the UNC Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Adorno is passionate about the acute stabilization and treatment of children and adolescents in the inpatient setting. His academic and clinical interests include first episode psychosis, trauma and PTSD, as well as the impact of substance use on adolescent mental health. Additionally, Dr. Adorno is motivated to expand mental healthcare services across the state of North Carolina by working with the Division of Virtual Care and the UNC Acute Telepsychiatry Service. As faculty, he is committed to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
