About

Cherry is a therapist with over 18 years of experience providing outpatient therapy and supporting enhanced services in community mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I’ve had the honor of serving people and their families in treating a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, Bipolar, substance use issues, ADHD, PTSD, grief, and adjusting to new life situations. I have served people and families in a variety of settings including home-based enhanced therapy services, outpatient therapy services in the clinic and/or primary care setting, and virtual outpatient therapy services. I am excited to help individuals with serious and severe mental illness (SMI/SPMI) in all areas of their lives, supporting each person’s individual needs. I offer a personalized approach to therapy using a variety of models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and trauma-informed approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy. I work collaboratively to help people best meet their needs and learn skills to manage stressful situations that can impact physical, emotional, and social well-being.
