Jamie Smolko MPH, PMHNP-BC,PMH-C, CARN-AP is a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She earned her master’s in nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Mass., and a master’s in public health from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Jamie is a Certified Addictions Specialist and has also been certified in Perinatal Mental Health with Post Partum Support International. Jamie has experience working in Behavioral Health Urgent care and adult outpatient psychiatry settings.  In her role at the UNC STEP clinic she provides psychotropic medication management to adult individuals for a wide range of mental health needs including anxiety, depression, substance use and psychotic disorders.
