About

Jessica is a Research Specialist in the Sullivan Lab, working on projects related to the genetics of various psychiatric disorders. She received her BS from Duke University in 2006, an MFA in Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in 2011, and an MPH From Mount Sinai in 2019. Her research interests include using novel computational methods, along with large-scale datasets, to understand the underlying biology of psychiatric disorders. Her non-scientific interests include art making and crafting, reading, birdwatching, and her cat and dog, Squeaky and Teddy.

Having lost two people to suicide and supported friends with depression, I’m committed to preventing suicide and offering support.
