About
Dr. Jodie Lisenbee is a Clinical Fellow with the UNC Center for Women’s Mood Disorders. She specializes in supporting individuals through challenges related to infertility, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Dr. Lisenbee treats a wide range of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, perinatal grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and the transition to parenthood.
She utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Dr. Lisenbee is deeply committed to providing affirming, inclusive care to clients from diverse sociocultural backgrounds and family structures. Her work is guided by a passion for reproductive empowerment, health equity, and compassionate, client-centered care.
